An integrated digital answering system provides up to 21 minutes of recording time, remote operation, and an LCD message counter. The KX-TG5571M also features Call Waiting, Talking Caller ID and Caller IQ Plus compatibility. A light-up antenna alerts you to new calls silently, if you choose, while versatile ringer options let you choose from three sound patterns, four melodies, or even customized ring tones that you can record yourself.

I have been using this phone for a couple of years now, but I’m back on the market for a replacement. Why? Because this phone only allows up to 3 accessory handset units plus the base. (Four phones altogether.) I now live in a big house and I need more phones.

We have owned this phone set for 6 months now and love it. You can program each handset with different ringers, so you can tell them apart. At first I wasn’t overwhelmed with the small size of the handset, since we’ve become accustomed to larger ones over the years, but now I love it. They’re small enough to put into a pocket to carry out into the yard. We’ve had no issues with frequencies and the sound is perfect.

Once I was a lonely telephone/answering machine, living on a shelf in a big warehouse. Then one morning someone shipped me to a new place in only three days. I didn’t know what would happen next, but next thing I knew, my new mistress was smiling as she opened up the package. She easily set me up in her office, where she was pleased that I take up so little space on her desk, compared with her old model. With my 4 voice mail channels (for her various work, private, & volunteer job calls), numerous features, & light-weight handset, I am sure to be a big help to her. I’m very happy with this machine combo. It’s good to have at least one corded phone in the house. One note: having the corded phone is nice because most of the new phone/answering systems have cordless phones and the cordless phones tend to warm up if you stay on the phone for a while. It’s nice not to have to be concerned with that. It’s also a speaker phone. Also, I can leave a memo for my son as he checks the messages when he gets back from school.
